The musicians of Brasserie Croque-Notes have been playing in various formations for many years, and singer Jo Vermeulen has been equally fascinated by the music and lyrics of Georges Brassens. The musicians and singer came together in 2003 at a party at ‘Café Local.’ Since then, they have occasionally performed some songs by Brassens – in private settings, during a French evening, or in a musical pub.

Eric De Vos, a talented songwriter-composer-arranger and guitarist, has embarked on a musical adventure, crafting a collection of 7 captivating songs with the assistance of professional session musicians. These songs are born from the essence of his home-recorded pre-production demos, a labor of love that promised an eclectic auditory experience right from the start of our collaboration.
